Who Is Your Favorite President & Why?

Past and present, who is your favorite President of the US? why?

For me, I have a fond place in my heart for Reagan. First, I think he brought back a certain pride in being American. After Carter and the Iranian hostage crisis, not to mention the state of the economy, there was a general sense of a nation "beaten down". Reagan changed that and created a sense of optimism and a "can do" attitude which had been sorely missing. Plus there are other things that history will credit to him...one of the main being ending the cold war as it had existed at the time.

Bill Clinton. I think he should be a model for Obama on how to govern from the center.
